I am trying to map drives according to the users group membership. I have tested the inGroup command outside the login scrip and am confident that it works with the user. But when I try to run the following ouside the scripts i.e at a dos prompt where the kix32.exe resides it does not work:

if Ingroup ("test1) <>0
use o: "\\servername\share"
endif
-----end of script------

bu the follwong test script works

---start of working test script----
if ingroup ("test1")
?"Hey, you are a member of test1"
else
?"get off the system"
endif
---end of script----

The above works. I am running of a win2000 workstation and am logging on to the domain.
Going to internet explorer and searching for the domain and folder where the scripts are run and then running this from the command prompt. As you may have realise I am new to scripting, but all I want to do is map drives according group member ship. Oh - I miss Novell 5...

I will need win95/98 clients to run the script as well. So please can someone help me with my test scripts??
