I have a new logon script to set a mandatory screen saver with
password in w9x clients ,but after my script the users profiles ( Activated by policy )change the registry modification for mandatory screensaver introduced by logon script.

My question is, how i can solve this problem ?

TIA

if your policy sets it, don't go messing with it with the logonscript but fix the value in your policy.
do you want me to teach you how to modify your own policy?

like said, fix the policy.
open your policy and edit that darn value in the darn policy of yours.

otherwise, if you don't want to learn what policies really are, please, stop using them.

No need to edit the ADM, edit the POL with PolEdit.

there is setting in that policy file you have enforced that has setting for the same value you are trying to set in your script.
there is two ways to fix this situation:
1) remove the policy so it will not change the settings
2) edit the policy like you said you had done before and fix the screensaver value in there

now, like said earlier...
this is not a board that teaches policy editing.
if you have learning such a thing, you can hire a consult to do the stuff for you.

Well doing Windows 95 policy is very limited compared to any 2000/XP/2003 policy. Windows 95 was released on August 24,1995 making it over 10 years old now.

Please take a look here for further information on System Policies.
