Paulus Paulus Lurker Registered: 2005-04-04 Posts: 2	Hello Ya'll I've bought a powerbook recently and I was wondering if there is any MAC OS X kixtart editor? I' ve been googling and looking for it all day but without any luck, can you help?

The main reason why there isn't a dedicated KiXtart editor for the Mac is that KiXtart doesn't work on an Mac _________________________ There are two types of vessels, submarines and targets.

Richard H. Richard H. Administrator Registered: 2000-01-24 Posts: 4946 Loc: Leatherhead, Surrey, UK	VIM is ported to the Mac by some enthusiasts. VIM is an excellent VI clone, and IMO the best cross-platform programmers editor available. While it is not KiXtart specific it does have KiXtart syntax files for colour highlighting. The biggest advantage is that once you've learned how to use it you can use the same editor on Mac, Windows, Windows CE, OS/2, *nix, Amiga OS, and a few odd ones that I've never heard of. Source code is provided, so you can compile it yourself if you have the environment. Mac VIM details here: http://www.vim.org/download.php#mac

Paulus Paulus Lurker Registered: 2005-04-04 Posts: 2	I know that kix isn't supported by mac, I often work on my MAC at home so I can write some script's if needed for my Windows/Work enviroment. Thanks for the VIM tip, I downloaded it already and will now see if it is what I need! Thanks for the reply! Cheers!
