However, I did get a call back saying that it came back today. Going to try to go to 4.51 to see if it happens there. If it does, then I will try 4.2x. I have a guy helping me with this now to verify. Going to change the users in the domain to get the /f switch to flush this on each login. Hopefully, this will come to an end soon. Server Names have been changed.. But, you get the idea: Quote: I looked at THESERVER this evening and found an overlapping DHCP scope called "BeaconIPPool" that was activated. Mark, do you remember if this was this an interim setup to fix the DHCP issue you had? I cannot remember at all. I looked through my emails that day and all I can remember/find is you calling me on 10/11 as DHCP was uninstalled from the server SERVER. I re-installed it and set it up again on SERVER the same day. I than updated all patches on both SERVER and THESERVER that evening. All I can think is that upon reboot the DHCP server scope on THESERVER started up and started the conflicts that resulted in kix issues. I released all IP addresses from the THESERVER DHCP scope, de-activated the scope and unauthorized this server from offering DHCP in the future. MS does not have a monopoly on DHCP. In the real world, it could be NT4, nix/nux, Access Points or other hardware, or even end users setting up ICS. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more.
