Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I setup a group of users to use a logon script. Some of the users are using it, some others aren't. On the ones that aren't, it doesn't even launch. Some users will start getting it after a few days. I put the script in the ...\repl\import\scripts on the PDC and the same on the BDC. I don't understand... a. Why users aren't getting it in the first place.... b. Why after a few days, some users start to get it. Any suggestions??? This is really annoying.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I had the same problem. What it was is that the BDCs did not get a fully replicated SAM from the PDC. Change something small in there USERID save it. Then change it back and save it again. Have the user login and logout see if this works. If not try a manual sync. Usaually this worked. Good Luck.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I tried manually syncing the domain. It still doesn't work. I am now trying some sniffer tracing. This is driving me nuts!

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Are you using NT Directory Replication to propogate the Netlogon share? If so you should be placing the scripts in <Systemroot>\system32\repl\export\scripts and letting the replication service do its thing.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Yes, Whenever I change the script I copy it from the ...\Import\Scripts folder to the ...\export\Scripts folder on the PDC to replicate it to the BDC's.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I have had this problem before and found that when I executed "set" from the command prompt the logonserver was blank. I then specifically set the logon server and the script ran fine. might help by the way are you aware of any y2k issues with older versions of kiX? rgds Rob
