I'm a newbie and just made a post to the topic asking about SetPrinterDefault() posted by pOOkie. All I suggested was that Jooel and Les leave reedmikel, another newbie alone. Reedmikel made a great contribution by pointing out inaccuracies in the SetDefaultPrinter and AddPrinterConnection commands. While some think that the experience of hundreds of KiX users that encountered this same confusion over the years is "trivial", it is not IMO. Seasoned KIX vets like Jooel and Les(also moderators) are so used to this quirk with these commands that it is just second nature to them when they use these commands and follow what is in their minds rather than printed in the docs. Yet when a newbie is confused by the docs and suggests improvements could be made(to the docs) he gets bashed by these unmoderate moderators...

My post, which just got censored, simply suggested that these two moderators just leave us newbies alone, unless you have really useful constructive advice. I'd go even further and recommend that Jooel and Les simply refrain from replying to Reedmikel's posts unless he asks for their input. I think these two moderators are too emotionally attached to their KiX baby, and are unable to handle well documented criticisms... Hopefully this should put an end to all the flame wars of recent days.

Just a newbies 2 cents. Will I get censored? Let's see.
