Indeed something has changed about global and local groups between
the kixtart 3.x and 4.x releases.
With following code it will not a problem:

code:

IF (Ingroup("Admin") <> 0)
  ? "Member of group ADMIN"
ELSE
  ? "No member of group ADMIN"
ENDIF

Mostly it isn't important which type of group it is. Mostly we want to know
"is this user a member of specified group".
