Almost all your scripts are ASCII. The fact that the computer operating system you use chooses to store them in an 8 bit word rather than a 7 bit word is not really relevant.
Pass your scripts through a filter using an ASCII mask (& 127) and you will find that they are exactly the same as before.
It's entirely possible that you file may be unicode - again this is down to the way that the operating system decides to store the data, not the data itself.
Of course, if you have used the ALT-Numpad method of keying in characters 128 and above for displaying boxes or currency symbols then they are not true ASCII. They are "extended" ASCII

how I know? well, ascii does not "work" with scandinavian characters, which I do use in my scripts.
