Now that both server and client version of Windows are generally available as 64-bit versions and KiXtart is able to detect a 64-bit system via the @ONWOW64 macro, wouldn't a 64-bit version of KiXtart make sense as well? Might be as simple as a recompile for 64-bits.

In short: this is on the todo-list.

As with any feature-requests: the more people ask for a specific feature, the higher it gets on the list...

Nice to play with maybe. However since only Itanium and the AMD64 are viable Windows 64Bit systems and out of 60,000+ Servers and Workstations we only have like mabye 3 64Bit systems I would have to say that beyond "interest" currently do not have a "need" for it. Of course as with anything, as this ramps up and more and more applications become available the more systems that will start showing up and running 64Bit.

However, having a 64-bit version can shore up some more interest as one can use it as a "selling point".
First non-Microsoft scripting language to run natively in 64-bit Windows :-)

I can go for that, however Perl and Python already claim support for 64 bit

I haven't yet seen 64-bit Perl/Python for 64-bit Windows. UNIX/Linux doesn't count as those 64-bit OSes have already been around for a long time.

. (Although a 64-bit Python interpreter is currently available for Windows, at the time of this writing, 64-bit Windows extensions have yet to be finalized.)
