I discovered that if you would like to use some of Kixtart's LAN macros including @FULLNAME and @COMMENT on a Win 98 client and you don't want to start the kxrpc on the domain controllers, you can simply map to the NETLOGON service before the macro call.i.e.
net use \\myserver\netlogon
