Using the Message function, is there a way to send a message to an Active Directory Group. Or use a wild card in a computername to send to a group of computers that start with the same 8 characters?

What Message function are you referring to cuz KiX has no built-in function called Message()?
If you are talking about SendMessage(), the answer is NO. THere is no support for wildcards or groups. That is not to say that you cannot enum a group and iterate through the names.

I want to send messages to every computer in my squadron without having to write an array with all the computer names. All the computers in my squadron start with the same 8 letters, the last 7 are serial numbers, and I want to mask them. Like using an astrisk in DOS..

Thanks

Are they in an NT4 domain or an OU in AD?

There should be a way to enum an OU for all computers but don't have ready code to do it. I use the NetView2() UDF and then verify that the computer is in my OU with the InContainer() UDF.
