DaleRE2 DaleRE2 Fresh Scripter Registered: 2005-01-27 Posts: 5	Using the Message function, is there a way to send a message to an Active Directory Group. Or use a wild card in a computername to send to a group of computers that start with the same 8 characters?

If you are talking about SendMessage(), the answer is NO. THere is no support for wildcards or groups. DaleRE2 DaleRE2 Fresh Scripter Registered: 2005-01-27 Posts: 5	I want to send messages to every computer in my squadron without having to write an array with all the computer names. All the computers in my squadron start with the same 8 letters, the last 7 are serial numbers, and I want to mask them. Like using an astrisk in DOS.. Thanks

I use the NetView2() UDF and then verify that the computer is in my OU with the InContainer() UDF. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more.
