Service Name: (example for Symantec AV) The key is located here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Norton AntiVirus Server and has DisplayName as Symantec AntiVirus Client The Uninstall key is here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{0EFC6259-3AD8-4CD2-BC57-D4937AF5CC0E} The UninstallString is MsiExec.exe /X{0EFC6259-3AD8-4CD2-BC57-D4937AF5CC0E} The main software installation and configuration key is located here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion This is for Enterprise Antivirus products, not home user versions. We currently have the required data for Symantec AV 8.x 9.x and McAfee 7.x If you are using another product and can provide the above details and possibly help out in running some test code that would be greatly appreciated. We are attempting to add Antivirus detection and status for multiple products.
