Well... if there were more serious coffee drinkers like Shawn, maybe the trade deficit would be more balanced.

Chris why you say that about Hortons?

First Store opens in Hamilton, Ontario
The very first Tim Hortons store opened on Ottawa Street in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964.

2004
In May, the Tim Hortons chain celebrates its 40th Anniversary
Tim Hortons expands its U.S. business into Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts by acquiring 42 Bess Eaton coffee and donut restaurants.

Did they sell to American buyers or something somewhere along the line?

AFAIK, yanks don't grow much coffee. You have to go to Columbia for good coffee.

Oh! here

Quote:

1995
Tim Hortons merges with Wendy's International Inc.
In 1995, Tim Hortons merged with Wendy's International, Inc. While Tim Hortons continues to operate as a separate entity, the merger provided a new focus for the expansion of the Tim Hortons concept in the United States. Tim Hortons locations can presently be found in Michigan, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Maine, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The Canadian operation is 95% franchise owned and operated, and plans in the U.S. call for the same key strategy to be implemented as expansion progresses.

Store 1000 opens in Ancaster, Ontario

Nope we don't grow much coffee - but we do make the best movies in the World, but even that is quickly being exported out to other Countries that work cheaper too just like Steel, Cars, Computing

LOL
Canada is a popular location for american moviemakers but they have to strew garbage around to make it look more "American".

It is not the outsourcing I am laughing about. It is that we have to "dirty" our cities to make them look more "American".

HEHEE
I finally got under your skin. You've been trying to get under mine for weeks now.

We all know that there is a difference between reality and the movies.
