Wow, those poor Canucks - I hear through the grapevine that they were down to -33c = -27.4f in some areas.

And here I was burning up today.... Went and watched the Japanese JGTC Drift Racing at about 23c = 73.4f

Its friggin cold up here. Just went for my morning Tim's coffee and nearly froze my back-bacon off. Temp is -23c right now, and Toronto is usually regarded as one of the more "warmer" spots up here. If we can Les to report, sure its much colder where he is.

K, Les reporting in from the other end of Ontario. BTW, Ontario is much larger than many other countries and as for latitude, I live on the 49th parallel bordering the US.

There is a whole lot more north above me. In the southern part, Windsor to be precise, you go north to Detroit.

It's been a damn cold spell lately and this week promises more of the same... overnight lows of -32, -34, -36 celsius.

Yep, know what you mean.

We almost reached 30c yesterday. Thought it was about time to go surfing or something for Christmas.

Since you yanks work in fahrenheit and you would not know what 30C is without a calculator, I have to assume you are gratuitously rubbing our noses in it.

LOL - Maybe if I was from Sweden

\Cel"si*us\, n.
The Celsius thermometer or scale, so called from Anders
Celsius, a Swedish astronomer, who invented it. It is the
same as the centigrade thermometer or scale.

But since I'm not, don't get your hopes up too high that I'll be using Kilometer or any other SI units any time soon.
