I want to have a simple script in which a user will map to a Drive (P:)share called IT$ in my file server \\fs2 if a user user is member of a domain group (_IT).
File Server NAme \\FS2.my.com Domain Group : _IT Shares to map to if auser is a member : IT$
Can anybody please help. I'm stuglling on this one. We have now a running kix script did by Nework Admins who is away, I just need code for this so I can insert it in the existing script.

I tried to test it in my DC \\sysvol\ but I didnt work. I tried to copy the scripts and kix files in my workstation just to test and it worked and mapped to the share.
I thought it might be the cache so I include /f in my script just to flush
%0\..\Kix32 kixlogin /f but same.. Please assist more.
Please discontinue posting to this thread unless this is a completely new suject or issue.
Your issue is being addressed in the other post which appears to be a little more complex then a simple drive mapping from a Domain Controller in a single Domain.
