Well, I'm Mini-Van man... 2001 Ford Windstar SE, aluminum wheels and spoilers, like a minivan needs one.

When I used to have testicles, I LOVED my Black 1999 Ford Taurus SHO.

Hey, I too drove a 57 chev pickup, bright yellow, brush painted at that, or was it a 56... not sure now! Got arrested when I was 15 for racing against a 54 ford coupe out on the TransCanada Highway. Just as well... saved me from the shame of losing the race... pickups are not the best for racing.

I have always been too frugal and practical with my vehicles, none ever pimped out, but I was into speed. In my teenage years, I seldom paid more than $100 for any vehicle and I usually drove them (or towed them) to the dump. Before the chev, I had a (54 or 55 I think) dodge pickup with a flat-head eight and pushbutton automatic tranny. I used to contemplate how much gas to put in the tank in case the car or truck didn't last as long as the gas did.

The only new truck I bought was a 75 GMC but that was a bad year for recycled metal and it started to rust out the first year. After my teenage years, I drove my almost new 87 Plymouth Voyager minivan for 15 years until it died recently.

My wife bought herself a slightly used olds so I now drive what was her 92 Cavalier.

shawn, nice for you.
I hate when I see you drive a car like that.
my taxes for my golf probably are as much as you pay for the whole car

on the other hand, your car is japanese and it's only slightly better than french!
so, me happy again

co, french have always done beautifull cars.
along the ugly ones.
but they never really deserve the name "car".
the saying "french are no good beyond looks and romantics" still is fully true. (hmm... I bet I spelled that totally wrong... )

heh.
well, car must meet some specifications.
endurance as a package, comfort, speed...
and most of all, riding experience.
shortly, there is no choice if you want to get anything that even comes near "being a car" with just 25.000 USD
you might get the looks (french) or the speed (italian) or the comfort (UK)
if you wanna combine these, buy a german one.
if you settle for replica, try asian car.

hmm...
I could say so.
it's different if I have some more money to spend...
I would have other choices for fine-tuning my ownership pleasure.

but, opinions are opinions.
can't arque about them.
everyone has their own and only mine are correct

Arizona Gold 2004 F-150

I had 2000 F-150 and prefer it over the new one. Go figure.

Not sure what movie you're referring to? The doors are one thing that I like about the new model. They are so smooth you click them closed with two fingers.

Another nice improvement is the tailgate has a torsion bar inside. You can close it with one hand. Before, you needed like three people and a come-along.

Another great feature is the $40 it takes to fill up every week.
