They needed that commercial to try to fool someone into buying one instead of a real car.

Amazing. Its so well done that you doubt weather it is an animation motioned by human paths or a real robot.

Jose - it is an amazing piece of work isn't it ... its the little things that got my attention - notice that when the robot raises his arms, the fenders flare-out to give the arms clearance, then they retract back in. Very subtle thing - an incredible bit of cgi work.

Yes it is Shawn.
There is a trick in hidding the ground (back wheels) while the robot is opening wich gives less contrast between the back film and the animated, you see thay when the robot is standed the angle changes dramatically.
The "fenders flare" is outstnading.

Is this commertial on TV actually?

What is wrong about this car? In my opinion the French are building beautiful designed cars these days...

Gots me a Honda as well. Ive had my black 97 Honda Civic HX for about 5 years now.

97' Honda Civic

Ive put it through heck and back and ive never had the slightest problem with it. It was also one of the first vehicles to use a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), which Ive come to love.

Funny, In the netherlands and as far as I know in the rest of Europe we don't tell the year of build when someone asks us what car we have.

So for you Americans I have a 2000 Opel Astra Pearl Stationwagon 1.7 DTI
