Yup, that's why elevated privileges are required in the first place. Unfortunately, I think there are more improperly configured AD installations out there than properly configured ones because Microsoft creates the impression that AD is easy to install via a couple of wizards. Unfortunately, AD is not just like an NT4 domain, just better.
