I have been having problems with my KiXtart loginscript and Trend Micro's OfficeScan 6.0 and 6.5 clients. I've done a lot of troubleshooting on this and I seem to have fixed the problem but I wanted to post it here just in case someone else might have the same problem.
It seems that whenever you allow the Login Script to run simultaniously with the Trend Micro OfficeScan Client startup as an Administrator the system will reboot. I've tried not running the login script then not running the Officescan client then running both as a non-administrative user and every time the machine worked fine. But when all three of those circumstances are involved the machine reboots.
My solution thus far (I have my fingers crossed, no reboots yet) was to set the Group Policy (User Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/Scripts/Run Logon scripts synchronously) to allow the logon script to complete before explorer.exe is loaded. Like I said, I have yet to see a system reboot with this configuration so I think it has worked.
