Maybe redirect their MyDocuments folder to a Server location including Staff let everyone know that they are not supposed to save files to the local workstation.

Then there is no need to save anyones profile except default and administrator if you want to, though even local administrator not needed either.

Might want or need to implement some type of quota on their server space though or you'll have a server out of space in no time.

Also, make sure you're using switches and not old dumb hubs for your connections.
