Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you all take turns explaining something to me that I ALREADY COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND.

I've removed the script. Problems solved. Cheers.

I'm sorry but I would have to disagree. If you FULLY UNDERSTOOD then you would not have posted your code to the UDF forum if you were not willing to update/correct your code to conform to the usage of a UDF. What if you were coding in Microsoft Visual C++ and you called a Function that just would not work as you expected that it would. Then you found out that Microsoft only supported it if you modified all your other code to conform to an OLD standard that you just could not or didn't want to do. You would probably be rather upset and saying a few choice words of how you felt about Microsoft or the programmer.

If you would have posted in the SCRIPTS forum then all your ideas about it working for you the way it is would have been fine, but in the UDF forum it is expected to work AS A BLACK BOX which you stated you did not intend it to.

Now, you feel as though someone has picked on you and you took your ball and ran home to mommie instead of working in the confines of a professional working world. Yes at times this board is full of fun and games and jokes, but in the case of this posting no one made fun of you or your code, they simply attempted to help you either understand the difference and how to bring the code up to a higher level which both you and everyone else that visits the board would or could have benefited from. Instead you some how took it as a personal attack and ran away. Sorry, but that (in my opinion) is not how you deal with issues in the real working World. I can just imagine how your boss or potential boss in the future would enjoy working with you if this is how well you take "constructive criticism".

I won't beg you to come back with your code, but I would suggest that you reconsider working through your code so that it does conform to the UDF standards of this board.
This is THE BEST and most ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED board anywhere out there on the Internet that deals with KiXtart. You can blow it off if you choose, but this is one heck of a wonderful resource to ignore because of a minor mis-understanding or improperly directed anger.
