I think your mixed ancestry is causing you some confusion 
Substitute "English" for "British" and it makes more sense, as the British army of course comprises troops from all over the mainland, as well as overseas (such as The Royal Gurkha Rifles)

Nah! Not jealous. Not much of a sports fan like most of the World. For some reason California does not pay as much attention to sporsts as most of the rest of the World does.
Hey, we were good at one time (when we had a bunch of Canadian players) 
Have only been to a couple games myself. It was fun, but not worth fighting over who wins.
