night300zx night300zx Lurker Registered: 2004-09-08 Posts: 2	when using ingroup ("west") i can get a return because it is in the users folder in ad. but say i want to us ingroup ("north") which is hidden in an ou "outbuilding\users" how can i read the group membership from north?

Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	What OU the group is in should have no bearing on the KiX InGroup() function unless you over-tighten security in which case this is not a KiX issue but rather an MCSE one. Try flushing the cache with the -F switch or by deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KiXtart\TokenCache key. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more.
