Turn on forecast points.
The little island in the center of the image is Jamiaca... Which is about to be returned to its natural state (without any signs of human habitation)... AND ruin this years crop
then it is looking to run right over Cuba (the larger, long skinny island toward the top of the image)
The image doesn't show any of the mainland of florida, just above Cuba, and the track of this huricane is dependant on whether I put up $300 more of plywood. If I do, it will it will probably wipe Miami off the map. If not, it will sit in my front yard throwing the remains of my hours 140 miles out into the Gulf.
Of course, it is a cat 5 huricane, and virtually nothing is built to withstand more than a cat 2, so the plywood probably wouldn't help much anyway...
