Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Hi there, I am trying to use kix for my dfs mappings, but since I am new to kix, I haven't got the clue!! We have three site with 2 DC's each! Users logon to the relevant DC, which then redirects them to the relevant DFS server !! Can anyone help on how to achive this using kix !!? Thanks in advance Bestia

NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11634 Loc: Space	It is just a drive mapping. The manual has some examples of mapping drives. Use S: /Delete /Persistent Use S: '\\myserver\myshare-point'

NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11634 Loc: Space	Well not wrong. However by using "myserver" probably is misleading. When "myserver" is in our case an alias to to DFS share. Sorry boss - for a more generic response Les is correct and I should have spelled it out better. However was also meaning that there is no real special code involved. It is still just mapping a drive.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I found that KIX does not understand mapping to the \\domainname\dfsroot (which is the proper way of mapping to a DFSRoot). If someone found a way around that let us know, please.
