Both are broken links. Where can I download the whole package?

How about http://s91376351.onlinehome.us/kixtart/ksms.zip

And in case anybody asks, the code is hererwith donated as it is extremely unlikely that I will be able to modify code. I have another script that I might have to post/donate as I can't spend much time on coding outside KiXgolf for the time being.

Be forwarned though that this code is now almost 2 years old. There are 97 files/scripts included so this would take a large undertaking to have someone update this to work with new methods of newer versions of KiXtart and targeted software for which Jens originally wrote this.

Not that it can't be done, but it will be a large task.

Because Jens's article I was getting interested in the KSMS script:

Quote:

With a small amount of code, you can accomplish simple tasks such as mapping drives based on group memberships or manipulating registry settings, as you can see in Listing 1. However, complex scripts exceeding 10,000 lines of code have also been written—for example the KiXtart Systems Management Server (http://www.kixtart.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=68489), a central client-server application for the management of a departmental network, featuring functions such as remote software installations. There's also the MyComputerInfo script (http://www.kixhelp.com), which obtains comprehensive information about computers and displays it as HTML files.

Still, it provides a good framework for a v2.0 including more integration into AD and GPOs for whoever is interested.
