I've got a weird problem. I downloaded IE6 which works fine everywhere but here!

If I bring up the home page (http://kixtart.org/) I get all the graphics, but when I go to this bulletin board (http://kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi), all the graphics are broken. I can rip the properties on each graphic, paste in the address bar, and VOILA the one graphic comes up.

Now I'm suffering graphic withdrawal. You know how difficult it is to navigate this site without graphics!

HELP! ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I found a better solution... uninstall! What was I thinking? Need to give my head a shake. Maybe when 6.01 SP2 is released.

Now I remember why I stay off the bleeding edge. I'm getting too old for this "rush it to market... we'll fix it later" cr@p!

Now Now... That is what we call job security.
If we were using Unix, Linux, we might finish the job at hand and not be needed anymore.
Windows keeps getting more complex and thats great... It keeps me with a job.

Sorry to hear about your ills Les, I use IE6 with no problems on this site or any others. Maybe a re-install or repair is in need.

Best wishes guy

Been there, done that. Reinstall didn't help, repair returned the following errors:

An error occurred calling "DllRegisterServer" in "C:|WINNT\System32\dxtrans.dll". (HRESULT = 80040154)

Ditto for dxtmsft.dll and tdc.ocx

I was so mad at M$ that I quickly uninstalled IE6 before checking the versions. After the fact, the versions are as follows:
dxtrans.dll - File = 6.2.4134.600 Product = 5.50.4134.600
dxtmsft.dll - File = 6.2.4134.600 Product = 5.50.4134.600
tdc.ocx - File = 1.3.0.3130 Product = 1, 3, 0, 3130

My video is Voodoo3

This is my 'home' machine. I'll still probably wait till 6.01 SP2 before rolling it out in the workplace but maybe when I get my next TechNet DVD and Select CD assortment, I'll give it another go... well... maybe not
