dfzone1 dfzone1 Lurker Registered: 2004-06-04 Posts: 3 Loc: Toledo,Ohio,USA	Hi All, I am trying to use kixtart to force users to accept an acceptable use policy at logon. I am able to bring up the message box and if they say no they are logged off. Problem is that if they just do not answer it they can still use the computer. How can I make it so they have to answer before they can do anything else on the PC. Here is what I have now: $Selection = MessageBox("You must agree or you cannot use this computer. Do you agree?", "Acceptable Use Policy", 4372) IF $Selection = 7 BEEP SLEEP 1 Logoff(1) Exit ENDIF Thanks for any help

Administrator Registered: 2000-01-24 Posts: 4946 Loc: Leatherhead, Surrey, UK	Only problem with that is that the standard message is informational only, you cannot get a response. If your local policies require an active acceptance of the AUP then the standard message is insufficient.

Our actual legal acceptable use policy is going to be posted. The lawyers aren't done with that yet. When you say run the script synchroniously (set it via a GPO)do you mean set it as a logon script in a GPO?
