Schuliebug Schuliebug Hey THIS is FUN Registered: 2002-01-18 Posts: 379 Loc: Netherlands	I'm writing a program which leads users from known problemdescriptions to predefined solutions or gives users the possibility to enter a problem description and enter it automatically in out heldesk system (Assyst). I'm using KiXforms 2.3.0.44 and the RichTextBox function to load .rtf files with information, but the current RichTextBox function is a bit limited in its functionality. Here's the question: is it possible to use a Word (or other) COM object to load the .rtf files with full layout functionality ad were it part of the KiXforms GUI? Does anybody have a piece of sample code? _________________________ Kind regards,

Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	ok, wasn't quite as straight-forward to implement bitmaps in RichTextBox as I thought, but give the latest Development Build a try and let me know what you think ... wonder if you will see/like the "power" that gets exposed by default.

That will come later on ... can't say how long that would take at the moment (but would like to roll this feature into the tiny KixML markup language

I'm wondering about one thing tough... Is there a reason that a vertical scrollbar is displayed if needed, but no horizontal one if the image is wider than the RichTextBox allows? Another problem i have with this build 45 (and not with 44) is: - Label.BorderStyle=5 was sunken (not anymore) - Label.Icon=number is no longer supported ? - Label.Picture=string is no longer supported ? Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	Quick answer to the ScrollBar thingy, by default - the RichTextBox has WordWrap turned on ... turn off WordWrap to get horizontal scrolling.

I assumed some sort of wordwrap method in RichTextBox, and i love it. But when using images wider than the available width, the RichTextBox should still wordwrap and show a horizontal scrollbar. _________________________ Kind regards,

Schuliebug Schuliebug Hey THIS is FUN Registered: 2002-01-18 Posts: 379 Loc: Netherlands	Shawn, Just converted all of our scripts to 2.3.0.44, wich is a lot more functionality compared to 2.2.0. I will work with that one for our business scripts, but will continue to test with the latest beta as soon as new version will become available.
