Windows 95/98 is not able to read group so it cannot tell if it is to look for a local or global group. In the manual (I think page 56 or under the INGROUP command) you will have to use the = 0, = 1, or = 2 to let win 95/98 know if the group it is looking for is global or local.

So your INGROUP COMMAND should look like this

IF INGROUP("group name") = 1
USE F: "\\server name\share name"

endif

remember to use the number applicable to the group type ie. local or global.
