Using @homeshr,@fullname within LoginScript with 2000 workstations only. AD domain is a mix of 2000 and 2003 DCs. I get no data for @homeshr,@fullname with some people randomly. But I @Ldrive always has correct data in it. AD folks say it's Kixtart not the AD. Any ideas?

code is not working, so i started capturing variables the variables into a file to see if they were working. Here's the capture.

Open(9,"\\server1\LOR\NYNY\" + @userid + ".txt",5)
$LineToWrite=@date +", "+ @time + ", " + @hostname + ", " + @Fullname + ", " + @Userid + ", " + @homeShr + ", " + @LDRIVE
WriteLine(9,$LineToWrite + chr(13) + chr(10))
Close(9)

Does the file ALWAYS write?

have you tried launching it with the /F switch (shouldn't really be required, but looking to cover all bases here)

Perhaps put in some @ScriptExe and @ScriptDir and @ScriptName

It is potentially possible that your REPLICATION is not current. In the past I've had a DC that was not replicating correctly so it always had an OLD script.

Is it possible to confirm 100% that all DC have an up to date version of your script?

Also maybe put in some @ERROR lines as well.

btw, ldrive has always correct data in it, no matter what.
so should be in hostname.

something to try to see a failure in kix, is to try something simple as:
if ingroup("domain users")
"da, me a user"
endif

checking eventlog for anything kix-related could be good too.
