Boggi Boggi Lurker Registered: 2004-02-18 Posts: 3	Hi, I'm completelly new to scripts, but I'd like to have a script, which would find the version of Sophos Antivirus and the latest install version including daily updates , and if it finds out that the version isn't as it should be it would run latest installation from server where ide files and latest updates are (this machine-server gets new updates every 5 hours). If anybody has done something like that, I'D BE VERY GRATEFULL IF you could send me or post some script regarding this question on this forum or to my mail! Second I don't think we reply to you by email because other people can use the information too... There are tools like savadmin and sav enterprice manager (I never have used the last but I know there is something like that) which can do the job. I know it is possible to do this by Kix because a former co-worker use it at his company... Only you have to start the sophos installation every time there is a new update. phollan1 phollan1 Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-02-18 Posts: 9 Loc: UK	yes savadmin tells you all the version information that you need and installs the updates when you specify, so no need for any scripting like that

Boggi Boggi Lurker Registered: 2004-02-18 Posts: 3	Yes, I know that there is option using Enterprise manager, but I'd like to have a script that would check and tell me if there is a PC in our company turned on and hasn't got Sophos antivirus installed, so if it isn't that would install it imidiatelly Thank you very much, to all of you who replayed!
