Try running it from the command line (CMD shell).
The output is sent to the console, so the file may display and the console window will close before you get a chance to see the output.
You can try adding "Sleep 10" after the display to keep the console open for 10 seconds, or '"Hit a key:" Gets $Key' to wait for a keypress, or even 'Shell "notepad.exe c:\work12"' to display the file in notpad if you don't want to use the console.
