Sealeopard Sealeopard KiX Master Registered: 2001-04-25 Posts: 11165 Loc: Boston, MA, USA	Can anybody test the USE * commands under various operating systems? I'm getting 'Error 2250 - The network connection does not exist.' error messages when trying to delete all mapped drives via the wildcard character under Windows NT and 2000. However, the drives do get removed. I'm using KiXtart v4.22. Sample script: Code: break on dim $rc $rc=setoption('explicit','on') $rc=setoption('novarsinstrings','on') $rc=setoption('wrapateol','on') use * @LSERVER+'\share' ? 'Error '+@error+' - '+@serror sleep 10 use * /delete /persistent ? Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	Ruud admitted there is a bug with USE * /Delete and promised to fix it, but I don't remember on what version the fix was promised. The workaround has been to wrap the asterisk in quotes as in USE "*" /Delete. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more. I've been testing a UDF on various operating systems, all of which are virtual machines created with VMWare Workstation 4.0.5. VMWare seems to create an automatic share to the host system that is not mapped to a specific drive letter. All virtual machines created the 2250 error (due to this share not being released?) while physical machines did not create that error. _________________________ There are two types of vessels, submarines and targets.
