1984 1984 Starting to like KiXtart Registered: 2003-08-14 Posts: 150	Need help with this one. Using kix and kixforms, I want to connect to a remote client registry and computer management console. In regedit and management cosole there is a option "connect network registry" and "connect to another computer" Having a remote client IP, want the script to run regedit and management console towards the remote client. A part of needed fuction is to make kix open the regedit and MMC conected to pre-defined remote client. This to remotly help users with changing of registry values, services, check the event viewer on target machine etc. This KIX GUI based collection of admin tools will be adapt for spesific office environment. Simply one button for regedit and one for MMC in KIX GUI to opens connected to target IP. Need an sample how to call regedit and MMC and make it connect to a remote client insted of local. ShaneEP ShaneEP MM club member Registered: 2002-11-29 Posts: 2127 Loc: Tulsa, OK	regedit $IP is not a valid command. regedit will think you are trying to import a registry file named $IP. Jens is suggesting just doing a Run 'regedit.exe' to open regedit and then use Sendkeys to open the File/connect network registry command and enter the computer name.
