Is it possible to modify NetView() or NetView2() to return a list of WORKGROUP computers? I currently use NetView2 and COMNetView in my domain and they work great. However, I need to write a script that will automatically determine if it's being ran in a domain or a workgroup and then list the computers accordingly.

A workgroup has no central place to pull the computer info from.

Sure it does, from tha Master Browser.

The DOS command:
NET VIEW /DOMAIN:WKGRPNAME

Works for me just fine.
