Code:

If $varPRODTYPE = "Windows 2000 Professional"
? "windows 2000 workstation"
? "..................."
?
? "...Purge old local user profiles...... "
? "error level before delprof = " +@ERROR
delLocalProfileW2XP()
? "shellERR= "+@ERROR ; for debug
?
EndIf

above is how i want to check for win2k or xp and then delete any local profile the user logging in may have

the function is named above so all i need now is to find out how you can delete a local profile and put it into the function.

in nt i can use a delprof with a shell cmd, e.g.

Code:

;DELETES LOCAL PROFILE - nt only
Function delLocalProfileNT()
$cmd= '%comspec% /c '
? "value for cmd is : " + $cmd
Shell $cmd+'delprof /q /i /d:2 >nul'
EndFunction

also i'm using kix32.exe in netlogon of 3 NT DC's

And your current question is? Can't you continue to use "delprof"? Or are you looking for something else?

I've been told not to believe anything I've been told.

Do you have any specific proof that DELPROF does not work in your environment?
