Ok, likely the fact that I'm stumbling around in the dark is to blame, but I've got a question. Should the WMI example in the documentation:
$Drives = GetObject("winmgmts:").ExecQuery("select Name,DriveType from Win32_LogicalDisk")
work on Windows NT? Is WMI available for Windows NT? I know these questions must seem terribly stupid, but I have code that runs just fine on Win2k and I can't for the life of me figure out why on NT machines I get "Invalid Handle" errors.

You have to install WMI on NT4. It is not installed by default.
