Some testings show us
- overall the tokenized scripts are shorter
- debugging mode not possible. our alternative with kixstrip still works in a proper way.
- error messages generated by kix32/wkix32 are the same for both versions.
First impression shows no problems with it. All our scripts work in a proper way.
Second impression: a very good extension to kixtart to get more secure scripts.
Our suggestions:
- don't introduce a backdoor to recreate original source.
- for people who want something like a backdoor we suggest that they should tokenize their scripts with a password. only by specifying this password someone can recreate his source.
