I have the netgear mr314 wireless 11 meg 8011b with combined 4 port router.
My telewest modem connects straight in to the input, and I can network with the LAN rj45's or the wireless side. Data transfer through wireless is at best 700k and can fall off with distance, 100 meg on the lanes. You need the transmitter up high to give an umbrella signal over the house. Hope this helps.
