I cannot test your method as I no longer have NetWare printing, but when I did, I did not set them up with local (double) spooling as the NetWare server already spooled. I am glad you found a method that works for you.
Having completed my printer migration, I am now half way through my data migration. Next step for me is to remove the NetWare Clients.
