Does anyone know how to remove printers connected to Netware print queues that have been installed on a Windows 2000 Professional OS? I am in the middle of a Netware migration and am trying to script the change over to a Windows-based print server. My script works except it will not remove the Novell printer that is no longer needed.

I had posted a kludgy method a while back that used SendKeys(). Have you tried using the board search?

Here is how you have to do it. First, stop the spooler service, then delete this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\PRINTER NAME

I cannot test your method as I no longer have NetWare printing, but when I did, I did not set them up with local (double) spooling as the NetWare server already spooled. I am glad you found a method that works for you.

Having completed my printer migration, I am now half way through my data migration. Next step for me is to remove the NetWare Clients.
