The problem is applications that requires administrator permissions on the workstation to function. And to put just a single user in the Administrators group cant be done, because people log in on different workstation. But if you have a better solution, so please give it to me. /Mima

Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	I have found from experience that most programs can be made to work without admin rights by either upgrading to the newest version or by tweaking permissions in the registry. Some apps may need only one or two keys opened up while others may need HKCR to opened. I strongly criticise any software that requires users to have elevated perms. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more. Sealeopard Sealeopard KiX Master Registered: 2001-04-25 Posts: 11165 Loc: Boston, MA, USA	No software designed for Windows 2000/XP/2003 should require administrative privileges in order to work (unless it's performing admin level stuff). However, if absolutely necessary, a registry moitor would assist in finding the couple of registry keys/values the program needs access to. _________________________ There are two types of vessels, submarines and targets.

NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11631 Loc: CA	Nero CD burning software is a good example of software that during the installation allows you set registry settings so that Non Admins can still burn CDs.
