Ok, I'll speak my mind. Don't get pissed at me [Big Grin]

-The current korg site (besides the board) looks like it has been taken directly from a WYSIWYG html editor. Just like you said it's to FrontPage like.

-Currently there is no visual attraction at the current site. If I would be a first time visitor and stumbled upon the korg site I would most certainly not be impressed by the looks of the site and probably would not think KiXtart itself would be any better (luckily it is much better) would probably continue my search for a fitting scripting language.

-A more dynamic first page would be a great improvement. I would put some examples of fun and/or functional code on it which would change by day of the week or month or something and not leave everything up to the board.

-Loosing the blue background for e.g. a white one would indeed remove some of the (please forgive me) ugliness.

-A more transparent design with no background colors and dynamic design would attract more visitors and potential new users of KiXtart.

-The news part is ok but maybe put it on a seperate news page.

-The old versions of kix should also stay downloadable it's agreat help when testing code.

If it was up to me I’d dump the current korg site and put up a complete new one with a kixscripts.com based design with a korg twist to it.

Off course there are much more apps to create a modern looking and attractive website but I have very good experiences with fireworks and dreamweaver.

Currently we are switching ISP so when DNS replication is done (hopefully by the end of Monday 10 November) our new fireworks/dreamweaver site will actually be visible.
