Has anyone discovered bugs/features other than those mentioned in the beta forum in this release? Lonkero Lonkero KiX Master Guru Registered: 2001-06-05 Posts: 22346 Loc: OK	think this was more of an discussion than just beta-testing issue. indeed, have been using 4.22 rc1 for about all my scripts, and works just like 4.21 and 4.20 for me. that means, nothing really broken but things I missed previously (like proper errors) isn't there yet either. when script has syntax error on line 54 and kix reports line 0, that's weird. or when you call unexistent UDF in your script loop, kix does not error out but just keeps on going. _________________________ ! download KiXnet

We must replace the @kix macro call with following code code: Ltrim(Rtrim(Substr(@kix,InStr(@kix,'.')-1,Len(@kix)-InStr(@kix,'.')+2))) which works for all kixtart 3.37 and higher. Code is up- and downwards compatible. Following code code: Substr(@kix,InStr(@kix,'.')-1,Len(@kix)-InStr(@kix,'.')+2) which works for all kixtart releases. Before making upgrading possible we need to change our iexpress package. Currently we have finished them. The definitive versions will be published tomorrow. It works properly for all kind of windows versions: 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. A pity is, that Scriptlogic didn't update their CHM file. Currently the latest release is related with kixtart 4.21 release. greetings. [ 09. With above workaround we make our scripts up- and downwards compatible.
