yeah it work like a charm, what did u write it in ?.

I done one in VB6 but my knowledge in VB so bad that I could only get it to set to a left hand mouse and that was it. [Razz] .

But your one will do fine, just will create a security group called "Irish Users" [Wink] and set them up in my login script to call your program.

Thanks

This sets the mouse, but I dont know RUNDLL enough to get it to reset it ...

shell "%COMSPEC% /C RUNDLL32 USER32.DLL,SwapMouseButton"

eh, swapmouse was written in good-olde Visual Studio C++ ... mmm, minus the ++ part [Wink]

by the way Richard, we have a similar thingy at our company with the mouse swap ... it was a simple regpoke and it worked like a charm, thing is when I went looking for the script/poke i couldn't find it ... if your still keen on doing a regpoke, will hunt it down tomorrow. (btw, this was for NT4).

To swap it back again to a right-hand mouse, you need to run the mouse icon from the Control Panel.

Yeah if a reg entry can be used I would rather do it that way, but I did spend some time doing compares on the registry and had no luck using Windows 2000.
