XNET could do the trick...

I tried this at the command prompt:

c:\XNET MODIFY \\machine\service /s:auto
c:\XNET START \\machine\service
c:\net send %COMPUTERNAME% "Blaster patch installed"
c:\XNET MODIFY \\machine\service /s:disabled
