lol, remember the other day when i said i was still at work - well i am still, still at work. me and the guys have been up working for over two days straight on our migration. having much fun playing around in AD. I like to call AD the Global Registry Its like HKEY_CURRENT_EVERYTHING ...
By the way, got that script going to have NT4 workstns join themselves to the domain ... its that combo NETDOM 1.8 and ADSI bit we talked about a few days ago ... works pretty good.
Doc, might try to push your kixforms domain-joiner script for use in our company.

Here is the latest news from my hosting provider:
quote:
I am sorry to inform you that the hard drive raid rebuild on the server just failed. The rebuild was 96% done when it failed.
We will be forced to setup a new server for you, to replace the existing one. There is no cause for worry though, as we have a recent full backup of the server. All files will be reinstalled as they where before the failure.
However, it will take some time to put the backed up data on the new server. We estimate it will take approximately 4 hours.
We truly apologize for the inconvenience.
What can I say but "f*&$ing thing"
