Hi Erik, Don't think I tried that particular combination ... tried the one that they said "didn't work" in the link referenced by Howard above ... I tried it anyways because I thought maybe MS fixed something in the install package after this info was posted, here's what I tried:

dsclient.exe /r:n /c:"setup.exe /q /r:n"

it still rebooted [Frown] but unless you think otherwise, going to try your suggestions first thing in the morning ...
