Howard is correct in that ANY DHCP VPN solution will alter your current IP to that of the connection point. That is how they work.
However, I thought you did Desktop Application delivery/solution providing work!. This is a LAN/WAN Network Engineers problem, not your area of support. It IS NOT a desktop issue (unless you have messed up the VPN software), it should be up to your Network Engineering group to make this work.
If you are stuck with it then you need to supply a LOT more technical information as to what equipment and methods you're using. We may be able to help you troubleshoot through it, but as I said, it should not really be on your plate of tasks. Do you even have Admin rights to setup/modify your Network Topology stuff?
